This year’s spring mission trip has begun! I am writing from Detroit’s International airport where I will board the plane in a few minutes.
This is just a quick note to let you know that the trip has begun! As with any deployment into action those involved will tell you there is a feeling of emptiness in the stomach and apprehension is pressing because home is being left behind for duty in a distant place. I can well relate to those feelings having experienced them many times. But one the action begins the emotional tinges are felt less as immediate priorities take forefront! As the tour ends then those emotions begin to become more pressing as the return is within reach.
IMPORTANT NOTE ON THE MAIL LIST—We have had problems with the UKRAINE MISSIONS mail list to which many subscribed. It appears that every time we had a negative comment on the savage invasion and brutal occupation of Russia’s forces our web site was blasted with spammers. We have gone into the mail list and deleted a number of suspects. IF you know of others who want to receive reports please encourage them to go to the web site and register as a human and a non-robot!
Pray for our efforts as we begin this trip!
