Our worship with the Ivano-Frankivsk congregation Sunday October 7 was so encouraging. We had present 72 adults and 9 children. Of that number there were 19 Alabamians and 2 Tennesseans! It was a surprise to be joined by Mike and Susan Lawson who are in town meeting with some who worked in the camps Mike coordinated in the summer. We have three of those who worked in the camps and they are doing a great job interpreting.
Scott preached a good lesson and all appreciated his comments. David officiated at the Lord’s Table. Bill gave a greeting at the end and expressed the love and partnership that Dalraida has with this congregation.
Following the worship, we celebrated 4 birthdays for October and Johnny was one of the birthday celebrities. We then went to eat lunch and then to Starry Lysets 602 Village Day. I will try to get more photos of the Village Day events and post them. It was a beautiful day but many of the group were weary because of jet-lag.
Monday, we begin our actions in the three objectives. All looks good on paper but now the paper becomes the reality!
