Report #22 — Oct. 8, 2018

Above Photo: A welcome in song at the Snaityn School greeted us upon our arrival. Dough & David will return to this town to conduct more English communication classes in the morning and then meet with a group of men who want a New Testament Church to be established in their community. Their afternoon study is on “How you can begin the New Testament Church.”

The Traveling Band presents a laptop to one of the classes in Snaityn Middle School.
The Ugorniky group shows one of the posters we brought to share cultural aspects of the USA. This poster shows the Dalraida Church building and worship.

I did not get any photos from the Starry Lysets group but things went exceptionally well there. They taught in the Lysets Schools during the day then at the Starry Lysets Palace of Culture at night.

The first day is always the most anxious because all variables are unknown. We have a few bumps but after all had reported at the end of the night things were great.

We have been stressing the horror of religious division and calling for unity upon biblical truth. In Starry Lysets Chris and Scott have had great discussions with some in the Pentecostal Church; in Ugorniky Jan and Jill had a priest and his family in their class and afterwards were asked to present the story of Moses in the school; another reported that they have talked with someone who has lived a lifetime in a religious group only to admit it is not following the Bible’s authority. Then there is the group in Snaityn who is tired of religious division and just want the Church they read about in the Bible.

The long years of preparing the soil have definitely opened some amazing doors!

Day #1 went exceptionally well. We are ready for day #2!!!

Continue to pray for us as we continue in this mission.
John L. Kachelman, Jr.
