The most recent update on the construction project in Ivano-Frankivsk is here! The progress continues and the report says the work is on schedule to be roofed-over before the heavy snows of winter hit. Thankfully the Lord has provided good weather and much has been done. We have the next payment due on December 15 and this will be when the roof is completed. We have received most of the funds to cover that cost but show that we are still lacking $21K. We continue trusting that this amount will soon be donated and “in hand.” Thank you to so many who have given to help us complete the work thus far!
When completed this construction will provide the Lord’s Church an amazing operational complex for a multifaceted outreach with the gospel’s message. I was very encouraged by this news that Ivan included with the recent construction update:
“The whole city is watching us and many people ask about church of Christ and we are known in the whole region. And when recipients come to the storage facility to receive humanitarian aid, they say that we are the only church that is so active helping people with their needs. We love you. In Christian love, Ivan”
THANK YOU for being a partner in these efforts that bring glory to God! As I reflect on this project and each one who has been involved in bringing it to the present point, I am reminded of Paul’s joyful memory of a like-partnership from the Philippian brethren. “I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all, in view of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now” (Philippians 1:3-5).
