Update – 5/27/22

One of the AED Defibrillators that was sent to the Tysmenytsia City Hospital and West Medical Clinic in Ivano-Frankivsk Region. This location is minutes from the new building where the Lord’s Church is meeting. Dr. Denis (far right) sent a report on these devices and how they are critically used in the medical treatments in the war.

Several years ago brother Emmanuel K. Nimo of Ghana met with Gary Jerkins and Ron Swang requesting a practical medical seminar for the Medical Institute in Ivano-Frankivsk. Emmanuel formed the NGO “Help Motherland International” (HMI) and the desired seminar became a reality. When Emmo graduated and went home to Ghana, his NGO continued functioning. A number of the Instructors in the Medical Institute stepped up and continued cooperation.

In 2021 we shipped a container of new medical supplies to Dr Denis and the Tysmenytsia City Hospital. It took over 6 months (and a letter from the USA Embassy in Kyiv) to get these cleared by Kyiv’s TASK GROUP but eventually we found success.

Here is a report from Dr Denis about the assistance that the Lord’s Church has been able to offer the Hospital and how that assistance has had far-reaching ramifications.

Dear John, Dr. Chris, Dr. Gary, Dr. Ron, Charita, Ivan and everyone who helps us. I want to thank you endlessly for 2 automatic electric defibrillators and electrodes for them. I have already taken them to hospitals. Below I am attaching photos with colleagues who have already received the devices. I also attach photos of the acts of transfer of devices.

On behalf of the staff of Tysmenytsia City Hospital and West Medical Clinic from Ivano-Frankivsk (clinical base for teaching HMI students) and personally, I would like to thank you very much for these vital devices.

In addition, we received 10 first aid kits. We have already completed them and prepared them for deployment to combat positions in the eastern regions of Ukraine.

In addition, I would like to inform you that we are actively supplying our fellow military medics who are serving in the hotspots of combat clashes. Much of the humanitarian aid we received from John, Dr. Gary, Dr. Ron and the entire team in 2018-2019 was sent for emergency assistance to the military. Your and our help was in Bucha, Irpen, Mariupol and other bloody places. Thank you for your help! Below I attach some photos from the places of formation, sending and receiving these vital parcels. I hid the faces and names of military units at the request of the military. I hope you understand.

Thank you very much again! In these bloody months for Ukraine, we need the help of the whole world in the struggle for human lives, democratic values and freedom! Evil must be punished! We continue to stand on our own land!

May God bless you all. Denis”

Our efforts to send War Relief into Ukraine constantly continues. Late last night we confirmed another shipment of food and new clothing from England. We are now working on logistics trying to secure the most inexpensive route.

Our loading in Montgomery, AL for Thursday was rescheduled due to the chaos in transportation in the USA.
