The Church of Christ in Ivano-Frankivsk received a shipment of war relief commodities. Included in this were hundreds of Family Buckets that were immediately distributed. This distribution was coordinated at the church’s building.
The buckets arriving in Ivano-Frankivsk were part of a container shipped to Poland’s Port Gdynia and then loaded into another transport and trucked to Ivano-Frankivsk.
Ivan sent this brief message…
Greetings, dear brothers and sisters!
Ivan Skoleba
Today at 9:00 a.m. we unloaded a container with buckets and medical supplies. Big, big thanks to you for your help. Currently, the Church of Christ in Ivano-Frankivsk is among those that do the most to help people, support the army and displaced persons.
May the Lord keep all of you safe and may you never know what war is and never hear air raid sirens. We keep you in our prayers.
Thank you, brother John, for your work and support of Ukraine. Unity in Christ makes us strong.
We love you.”
The distribution of the container’s commodities was begun instantly. On Sunday, more distribution occurred after the worship assembly. Not only were Family Buckets made available but there were also reading glasses, personal hygiene items, and many other commodities that were needed.
We had a good worship service today. There were new people in attendance. It was a family from Mariupol. Sergiy told us that they had been hiding from Russians in the basement for a month. Besides sharing with members who will give to others, we gave buckets to any in the community that was in need. Everybody is thanking American Christians for help.”
