Special Plea For Family Buckets!!

Photo: The Church of Christ, Sylacauga, AL sent EIGHTEEN Family Buckets by Chip & Kristy McEwen. In addition to the buckets they sent several bags of extra supplies that will be used to stuff these buckets and help fill other buckets. In addition to this, The Clay County Commissioners have taken buckets and will fill them (The Clay County Commission has previously filled a number of buckets that were sent last year!).

The “Family Buckets” are 5-gallon plastic buckets stuffed with items essential for a family that has been displaced. We have been able to distribute TENS OF THOUSANDS of these buckets to those displaced by Russia’s invasion and occupation. These have literally been distributed in EVERY oblast of Ukraine’s sovereign land (with the exception of Crimea but we hope to distribute there before the end of this year).

We are PLEADING with everyone we know to help us collect and ship more of these Family Buckets. The list of supplies is below. This is a project that Churches, Civic Clubs, School groups, camps, Bible Classes, school cubs, etc. can do. It is a project that is vital to the everyday citizens who are suffering from the world’s evil.

Here is the “bucket list”:

Hear this witness validating the effectiveness of the Family Buckets…

We have seen a lot during this time…

The tears of strong men who had lost everything, the despair of women and the frightened eyes of small children.

The smiles of parents watching gifts of their daughter’s doll or son’s car rejoice.

The smile of a grandmother who is happy that she will now have her OWN cup, because there are only 3 cups for all living in a hostel for 20 people displaced by the war.

The smile of a woman who is used to being a housewife, but at the moment she didn’t even have forks, so she got them.

The smile of a teenage girl who took out a letter from a bucket and is already rushing home to write a reply.

You provided us with invaluable help. People still remember the wonderful toiletry kits they received.

Will you help collect more Family Buckets?

Will you contact others and ask them to collect Family Buckets?

If you cannot collect a Family Bucket yourself, can you donate funds that will be used to help purchase the items in a bucket? The average cost per bucket is $60.00.
