Fall Trip Report #5 Wednesday Bible Class

Featured Photo: Gif made his rounds picking up members for the mid-week Bible study. Here is the bus waiting at the second stop!

Our Wednesday has gone very well here. We were able to visit with Mayor Lubov. It was a day of sorrow in the village as a special program to recognize 12 men who have been killed in the war is planned. In addition to the sorrows of the war, Lubov told med that her 94-year-old momma had died and the funeral was on October 7. In the midst of all this sorrow was the arrival of Lubov’s first grandson (“Demyan”). We briefly visited as the Mayor’s schedule was very busy. Before we left her office, we had prayer with her for the sorrows in her life, the tragedy of the war’s impact upon the village and for the joy of her first grandchild.

Our mid-week Bible study was tonight and nine were present to study. It was a good class discussing a lesson I had presented in the Dalraida Auditorium Class on “The challenge of victory against all odds.” There were very good comments and several mentioned they had never considered the story of Asa facing Zerah and how that applies to their lives. As usual the gathering was encouraging and all were delighted to be present!

Thanks to the supporters of UKRAINE MISSIONS for the funding that makes such actions possible. Through your giving the Lord and His Church are magnified!

Below are some photos of tonight’s activities.
