Once again, I want to highlight the amazing cooperation between numerous groups that makes our efforts to bring glory to God and His Church successful! It is truly a masterful plan that Inspiration details in 1 Corinthians 12 of how the intricacy and individualism of each one weaves together amazing results. When all “parts” are working together, without pride dominating, wonderful successes are abundant.
Here is a brief mention of this amazing cooperation in delivering commodities to our warehouse in Montgomery, AL.
While in Ukraine I received the following email from C.U.R.E. (Ft. Smith, AR). These good brethren have partnered with me from the very beginning of our shipments. They have a network throughout OK, AR, ID, IA and other locations that results in donations of critically needed medical supplies and other commodities as well.
“John, we are able to send you a couple of trucks loads or three. We just picked up equipment for cataract surgery and an anesthesia machine, endoscopy looks complete. The dialysis charges and blood vac systems, and medical supplies. I can get a pediatric parallel bars assembly that is used for walking trainer. It came from a pediatric physical therapy clinic. The first truck has an anesthesia machine, surgery table, and complete endo and cataract surgery equipment and other items. Nancy is driving.”
Previously when I was in Ukraine I could send a message to go-to guy Gif to coordinate the unloading. But Gif is now living in Ukraine and cannot hop over to the warehouse. ☹ My next go-to guy is FREDDIE JOHNSTON (who can really do anything!). Freddie was willing to open the warehouse but his birthdays of 80+ have made it impossible for him to unload.
So, the next go-to guy was NATE KIDWELL. Nate is the college minister at Dalraida (and for purposes which I’ll need him in future unloadings I add), and Nate is a REALLLLY great guy (just don’t “loan” him any books)! Nate came through in flying colors arranging a number of FAULKNER UNIVERSITY students to meet the trucks and do the heavy lifting to unload. See photos at the end.
Appreciate the amazing coordination and functioning that has brought a number of critical medical items to Montgomery, AL that will be shipped into Ukraine.
I am oft reminded of this text that highlights the success arising when Christians adhere to God’s regulations and work with single-minded devotion! Ephesians 4:15-16, “Speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.”
